Mary's Meals

As part of our Groups wider community outreach, we help raise money for Mary's Meals in conjunction with St Vincent de Paul Church. Mary's Meals is a charity which raises money with the aim of ensuring children in less well off countries are able to eat at least one hot meal every day, while at school. The money raised by ourselves and the other Church groups involved goes towards supporting a specific school in Malawi. You can see pictures of the school and the children we are supporting in the Church hall.

To raise money, breakfast is served in the Church hall every Sunday morning. Our Scout Group takes over this once every four weeks and it's a great way supporting those less fortunate than ourselves. It's also possible for our youth members to get involved and, with agreement from their section Team Leader, use this towards their Community Impact badge!
